I had an really good stay at Hotel Gion Ichirin! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Gion, making it easy to explore temples and enjoy great dining options nearby. The level of service was excellent, truly surpassing my expectations. However, I wish I'd known about the 4th-floor lounges earlier, as they looked lovely and inviting.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Gion Ichirin. The hotel is recently renovated and perfectly blends modern luxury with traditional Japanese charm. The location in Gion was spot on, just a short walk to Kiyomizu Temple and other attractions. While the management could have been a bit more flexible, the overall experience was fantastic and nice, making my time in Kyoto even more special.
